Car Hire London

Car hire in London is not a great idea if you intend to stay within the confines of the city itself - London traffic is heavy, congestion charges are levied in the central areas and it is difficult and very expensive to park. London car hire is, however, an ideal method of exploring the attractions outside of the city and the rest of the UK.

Why not use your car rental to visit Hampton Court, a magnificent palace generously donated to the public by Queen Victoria. Get lost in the famous Hampton Court maze, marvel at the exquisite rooms and wander in the beautiful gardens. Alternatively, use your car hire to head 55 miles to the south coast and indulge in a spot of shopping in Brighton. Enjoy good old fish and chips on the pier and be amazed at the elaborate decor of the Royal Pavilion - it's simply breathtaking!

If you do organise London car hire then a round trip taking in the historic university town of Oxford, the ancient stone circles of Stonehenge, Salisbury's awesome Gothic cathedral and some of the prettiest villages in England is perhaps one of the best day trips by car.
